How will I receive proceeds from a buyback?
Successful Tenders-The Clearing Corporation (CC) will credit funds to the investor's registered bank account on the offer settlement date.
Unsuccessful Tenders- The shares will be returned/unblocked in the investor's demat account. NRI accounts and exceptional cases- In the case of NRIs or when there is an issue with the shareholder's bank, payments are credited to the broker's (Geojit) account, which in turn credits it to the client's registered bank account.
