Why am I not able to see the shares I’ve purchased?
You may not be able to view the shares you've purchased in case they have been short delivered i.e. when the seller of the shares defaults on delivery. If this is the case, you will be informed via SMS and email.
Hence, if the purchased shares are short-delivered on T+1, they won't show in your holdings on T+1. If the shares are bought through the auction, they will reflect in your holdings from T+2.
For example, Ms Arya purchases 1000 shares of Tata Motors on Dec 1st.
