Can I submit a Letter of Confirmation from the RTA for dematerialisation?
Yes, a Letter of Confirmation issued by the RTA/issuer company as per SEBI guidelines can be accepted in place of the original share certificates for dematerialisation.
Point to be noted:
- The original Letter of Confirmation must be submitted
- The Letter must be valid (they remain valid for 120 days from the date of issuance)
From now on, when you apply for new/duplicate share certificates, you will be issued a Letter of Confirmation in place of the original share certificates.
