Can I make a partial withdrawal from my PMS account?

Yes, you can request a partial withdrawal of funds. It will be subject to maintaining a minimum balance of Rs. 50 lakh in your PMS account.

For example:

Scenario 1- Portfolio value less than Rs. 50 lakhs

On January 1st 2022, Mr John's portfolio value is Rs. 42 lakhs. In this case, he will not be allowed to make a partial withdrawal since his portfolio value is less than Rs. 50 lakhs.

Scenario 2- Portfolio value more than Rs. 50 lakhs

On January 1st 2022, Mr John's portfolio value is Rs. 70 lakhs. In this case, he will be allowed to withdraw up to Rs. 20 lakhs (70-50 lakhs).

* Partial withdrawals can not be in the form of securities

* Early withdrawals (before completion of 1 year from the date of investment) are liable to be charged an exit load of 1% of the withdrawn amount.

* Post 1 year, there are no withdrawal charges.
