Why has my FLIP/ SELFIE/ TraderX account been locked/ disabled?


Account lockout policies are used to lock/disable an account when someone makes multiple unsuccessful login attempts. Numerous failed logins may indicate that someone is trying to hack your account. Hence as per Geojit's password policy, you will be allowed to make 5 incorrect password attempts before your account is temporarily locked/disabled. 




After 3 incorrect attempts, you will have to enter the OTP sent to your registered mobile number and email ID to verify the login. Only after this will you be able to make a 4th attempt to access your account.
