What is the maximum validity period of a DIS/e-DIS authorisation?
Shares unblocked in your demat account using the DIS/ e-DIS facility will only be valid for sale (remain unblocked) for that day.
For example, Mr. Arun unblocks 100 shares of Reliance Industries in his account on Monday and did not end up selling them. If he wishes to place a sell order on Tuesday, he will have to repeat the DIS/ e-DIS process to unblock these shares.
