Can a limit order be used as a market order?
You can use a limit order as a market order, where the limit price entered can ensure that your order isn't executed beyond this price. This can be done by:
- Placing a buy order with the limit price higher than the best ask price offered by sellers.
- Placing a sell order with the limit price lower than the best bid price offered by buyers.
In the above two cases, the limit order will get executed like a market order at any price, up to the specified price limit.
