What are Equity ETFs?
An Equity ETF is a basket of stocks that reflects the composition of an index such as the NIFTY, NIFTY BANK, SENSEX, etc. Its price is hence based on the value of its underlying stocks. Like shares, units of these ETFs are traded on the stock exchanges.
