What is a Fund Rating?
A Fund Rating is the measure of a fund's historical risk-adjusted performance over different time periods in comparison with other funds in the same category. It helps assess the risk and return of a fund. A rating agency (CRISIL, ICRA, etc.) assigns ranks or star-ratings to mutual funds on a scale of 1 to 5.
