What is BSE StAR MF?

BSE StAR MF is a browser-based, fully automated online order collection system for mutual funds by the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).  

BSE StAR MF is the Bombay Stock Exchange's online platform for purchasing and managing mutual funds. Geojit customers can use FundsGenie to activate their BSE StAR MF membership and start investing in mutual funds.

How do I activate my BSE StAR MF membership?

You can activate BSE Star membership via the Fundsgenie app. Once you have successfully logged in, you will by default land on the 'Dashboard' page. If you don't have an investment with Geojit, you need to activate your BSE Star membership.

1. Log in to the FundsGenie app. 
2. You will land on the dashboard page. 
3. Tap on the 'Activate Now' button located at the top. 
4. A pop-up will appear asking, 'What type of membership are you looking for?'
5. Click on 'Demat' and read & accept the terms and conditions. 
6. Click on Activate, and you will get a message stating, 'Membership Activation In Progress.' 

How long does BSE StAR MF activation take?

It usually takes 2-3 hours for BSE approval. Once approved, the user will be able to place their first order. Once you get the approval, you can invest in your desired mutual fund.
