I see a Charges link in the order window. What is this value?

The Charges link will provide an estimate of the Brokerage, Government Taxes and Other Charges that are applicable to your order.

These taxes include GST, STT, and stamp duty, and other charges include SEBI and exchange fees. Learn more about these charges.

Upon placing your order, the necessary calculations are carried out, and the corresponding funds are held until the end of the trading day. After the final calculation are made during the processing of the contract notes, any surplus funds that were initially blocked will be reversed back on the next trading day.
