What is Declaration for NRO/NRE accounts?

Geojit will capture the prices automatically if the transactions are done through the platform. There may be instances wherein shares are credited to DP through Off Market Transaction, Mergers, Acquisitions, Spin off, Rights etc. In such cases Geojit will not be showing those shares in portfolio of trading platforms and so the sell orders cannot be placed. The details of shares transferred  through off-market, dematerialized or via  Corporate Action such as Right Issues, Mergers, etc. cannot be determined by the system. 

In such cases customers can send a mail declaring the cost and date of acquisition in the format prescribed or submit the duly form signed at branches.
