How Can I Sell Shares Bought Through StockWallet?


StockWallet is designed to provide a hands-free experience to the clients.  As long as your StockWallet subscription remains active, you cannot partially or fully sell shares that were purchased through the StockWallet.


Selling StockWallet Holdings After Unsubscription


You can sell your StockWallet shares only after unsubscribing from the service. If you need to liquidate your holdings due to an emergency or personal financial requirement, you can unsubscribe StockWallet. Once the unsubscription is processed by the end of the day (EOD), StockWallet’s control over the shares will be removed, and you will be free to sell any or all of the shares in your account.

Steps to Sell Shares Purchased Through StockWallet

  1. Unsubscribe from StockWallet.
  2. Wait for the unsubscription to be processed by EOD.
  3. After processing, StockWallet’s control over your holdings will be removed.
  4. You can then sell part or all of your shares through your trading account.

What Happens After Unsubscribing?

After unsubscription, all pending instructions for buy/sell/stop loss etc. for the StockWallet's open positions if any, will be removed, and you will have to manually process them.  


Do not forget to subscribe back, when you are ready.
