What is the procedure to change my demat account status from RSDA to BSDA?


To change your demat account status to a BSDA (Regular Service Demat Account):


  • Single holder demat account- Please send an email to customercare@geojit.com from your registered email ID with your request. Ensure to mention the cancellation of the RSDA facility and activation of BSDA in your account.


Sample mail:

Dear Sir/Madam,

I would like to change my demat account status from RSDA to BSDA. Hence, please cancel the RSDA facility in my account and activate BSDA.

My DP ID and DP client ID are as follows:

DP ID: IN3XX123
DP Client ID- 123XXXXX

Regards,
Client name and Trade Code


  • Joint holder demat account- Please submit a written request signed by all holders at a Geojit branch. Ensure to mention the cancellation of the RSDA facility and activation of BSDA in your account.
