Can I submit form 15G/15H for non-deduction of TDS?
The company or mutual fund will inform shareholders via email regarding any dividend declarations. Eligible shareholders are then required to submit Form 15G or 15H to claim their dividend income without TDS:
- Resident individuals whose estimated annual income is below the exemption limit can submit Form 15G to the company or mutual fund issuing dividends to them.
- Senior citizens whose estimated annual tax payable is NIL can submit Form 15H to the company or mutual fund issuing dividends to them.
