How long does it to take to activate my FundsGenie account?

For New Users

Residents: After completing the account opening process, you can begin using FundsGenie 1-2 hours after account opening.

NRIs: After completing the signup process on the FundsGenie platform, it will take approximately 1-2 days for your bank proof to be verified by BSE. You can start investing post-submission and approval of the request. That means NRIs can use FundsGenie 1-2 days after the account opening.

For Existing Clients

Existing Trading Account users can activate membership through FundsGenie >> "My Profile" option. After submitting the membership request, activation typically takes 1–2 hours for residents and 2–4 hours for NRIs. Once activated, users can start using FundsGenie.

Account activation is subject to all your documents being up-to-date and KRA-KYC compliant.
