Do mutual fund purchases on FundsGenie have to be made via net banking?
Mutual fund purchases can be made using net banking or UPI.
- For order values supported by the UPI facility payments can be made using your UPI ID. The payment link will be sent via email by BSE after placing your order. In this case, the payment must be made from the bank account registered with your FundsGenie account (or it will be rejected).
- For order values exceeding the UPI limit/banks that do not support the UPI facility, you will have to use the net banking facility for lump-sum purchases and for the first installment of your Systematic Investment Plan (SIP).
If you don't have access to net banking, kindly contact your nearest Geojit branch to start your mutual fund investments physically or in demat form.
