What do I do if my SIP purchase does not go through, due to an insufficient bank balance?
If you miss an installment, the SIP purchase deduction will be attempted on the next scheduled date. This will be done thrice; your SIP mandate will be cancelled after 3 consecutive unsuccessful deductions.
On FundsGenie, you can make an Additional Purchase to make up for a missed transaction.
To make an additional purchase:
Step 2. Select Buy next to the desired fund
Step 3. Select Additional
Step 4. Enter the required Additional Amount and select the Order Type (Physical / Demat) > Proceed
Step 5. The payment can be made in 2 ways:
- Your bank is registered with BSE- You will be re-directed to your net banking page to make the payment.
- Mutual Fund Order Payment Confirmation Link- An email will be sent from BSE to your registered email ID. There is the provision to pay via UPI/net banking/NACH mandate (if authorised).
