Is there a minimum period for which I need to stay invested in a mutual fund?
There is no minimum holding/ lock-in period for mutual funds unless you have invested in a close ended fund or a tax-saving fund. The lock-in period is fund-specific. For tax-saving funds, it is currently 3 years.
