How can I update my mobile number and email ID?
You can update your mobile number and/or email ID by submitting the KRA KYC Form with your new details at your Geojit branch or edit the information online through MyGeojit Platform.
To update the information online follow these steps:
Please Note: Keep the Aadhaar with you while you update the Information.
Step 1. Login to MyGeojit Account
Step 2. Go to My Account
Step 3. Choose User Profile
Step 4. Change MOBILE NUMBER / EMAIL ID
A. CHANGE MOBILE NUMBER
- Go to Mobile Number field
- Click on the Edit Icon
- An OTP Verification page will appear
- Enter the OTP sent to your registered Mobile Number and Email Id.
- Then, click the Verify OTP Button and your mobile number will be verified
- Next a new pop up will appear where you must enter the Current Number and New Number
- Again an OTP Verification page will appear
- New OTP will be sent to the New Mobile Number
- Enter the OTP and the mobile number will be verified
B. CHANGE EMAIL ADDRESS
- Go to Email field
- Click on the Edit Icon
- An OTP Verification page will appear
- Enter the OTP sent to your registered Mobile Number and Email Id
- Then, click the Verify OTP Button and your email will be verified
- Next a new pop up will appear where you must enter the Current Email Id and New Email Id
- Again an OTP Verification page will appear
- New OTP will be sent to the New Email Id
- Enter the OTP and the Email Id will be verified
Step 6. After the New Email/ Mobile Number verification you will be redirected to the E Sign page
Step 7. Click the E Sign Button and confirmation pop up will appear.
Step 8. Click Ok Button to Continue or Cancel Button to discontinue
Step 9. Next tap on the Checkbox to give permission to access your information
Step 10. Enter the Aadhaar Number/ VID and click Send OTP Button
Step 11. Then, enter the OTP number and verify the OTP
Step 12. The E Sign will be verified successfully.
NOTE:
* The Mobile Number/Email Id change is updated in the MyGeojit only on the End Of Day.
* The change will reflect in the Depository.
* Any changes in email/mobile number in Personal Profile will automatically reflect in both the Demat and Trading Account.
